Don’t know why, but every time something goes wrong or badly in law enforcement, it seems as if the justification was that it went by the book and so all parties are absolved. Never once have I seen or heard anyone to wrote the book be held responsible for the misteps that resulted in death and suffering being held responsible for a bad book.

But stioll a deputy died. This time it was a law enforcement officer and other times it is an inocent civilian in a botched raid where they went to a wrong address.
