Over the week-end, did an entry on corruption and figured it was not going to get any worse and it did. This is not just a podunk police department. This is the secret service that has the mission to protect the president and set the example of professionalism. Now is all we have to do is drop down to the State of Florida and look at the Department of Corrections under Crosby. Here there were identical trends, themes and patterns of behavior. Crosby ended up in a federal prison because the state of Florida did not have the political will to punish him for his transgressions and it took bringing in a retired infantry army Colonel who had no experience in corrections to clean house. I am told this was the case because there was no one in Florida law enforcement much less the criminal justice system that had the stature or integrity to do the job.

Could it be that the criminal justice system has gotten so big and out of control that they are out of control.
